1 kg Pata (Pork Knuckle), sliced
1 gallon oil (for deep frying)
1 pc. onion
3 pcs. Bay Leaves
1/4 cup Patis (Fish sauce)
2 tbsp. Pepper Corns
Kare-Kare
1 bulb garlic, chopped
2 bulbs onion, chopped
1/4 cup Atsuete Oil (Annatto Oil)
1/2 cup Peanut Butter
1/4 cup Patis (Fish Sauce)
4 cups Pork Stock (from Crispy Pata)
Vegetables for Kare-Kare
String Beans
Banana Hearts (white centers only), chopped
Pechay or Bok Choy
Eggplants
