Passport

Airlines and immigration authorities require at least 6 months’ validity on a passport to be allowed entry into a country.

Civil Registry

Civil registration, as required by Act No. 3753, is the mandatory and continuous recording of significant life events (births, marriages, deaths) and legal changes to a person's civil status.

Legalization

Although both the Philippines and Germany are parties to the 1961 Apostille Convention, the Apostille arrangement is currently not yet in force between the Philippines and Germany.

Philippine Citizenship

Former Filipino who naturalized as a German citizen, have the option to reacquire or retain your Filipino citizenship. However, it's your responsibility to consult relevant German authorities beforehand to understand any potential impact on your German citizenship.

Visa

Citizens of 157 countries can enter the Philippines visa-free for tourism/business purposes. Check out the full list of visa-free countries and a maximum length of stay for your nationality.

Consular Services Fee

Fees are non-refundable once processing has begun, including in cases of incomplete or withdrawn applications. For applications submitted by post/mail, please do not make any payment until advised to do so by the Consular Officer. If unsure of the applicable fee(s), contact the relevant section by email before sending your payment.
