29 September 2026 21:00 — The Philippine Consulate General in Frankfurt (PCG Frankfurt) confirms that 27 Filipino nationals affected by the bus accident on the A96 near Buchloe, Bavaria, are now in Milan or en route to Milan. Four Filipinos remain in hospitals in Bavaria for continued medical care, while the remains of the two deceased are in the process of being repatriated.
On the second day of hospital visits, the team led by Consul General Marie Yvette Banzon Abalos, and the Rapid Response Team led by OWWA Administrator PY Caunan and the Philippine Honorary Consulate in Munich, continue to speak with doctors caring for the injured Filipinos and meet directly with them and their families to ascertain their condition and needs and provide appropriate assistance.
The team is also securing appropriate legal assistance to support the Filipino passengers and their families.
