June 19, 2020

The National Historical Commission of the Philippines joins the nation in celebrating the 159th birth anniversary of José Rizal tomorrow, 19 June.
Simple rites will be held at his birthplace in the Museo ni José Rizal, Calamba, Laguna, his place of exile in the Museo ni José Rizal Dapitan, Zamboanga del Norte, and his place of imprisonment in the Museo ni José Rizal Fort Santiago, Manila.
To mark this day, we encourage everyone to visit the three museum’s Facebook pages and to watch videos and documentaries looking back at his life and deeds.
