The Philippine Consulates (ad honorem) are able to process specific categories of consular documents. Documents that can be accepted include those for authentication, application for travel documents for one-way direct travel to the Philippines, tourist visas, certifications, and filing of civil registry reports (Reports of Birth, Marriage or Death).
The honorary Philippine Consulates can only authenticate documents if they come from the District Courts (Landgericht) that fall within their jurisdiction. For filing of civil registry reports on events that took place beyond a period of one year an Affidavit of Delayed Registration would need to be filed and additional costs may be incurred. It is best that one should consult the honorary consular officer on their particular consular transaction.
Payments must be sent to the respective bank accounts of the honorary Philippine Consulates and not to the Philippine Embassy in Berlin. Please note that passport applications and the acknowledgement of documents requiring personal appearance of the affiant must be processed only through the Philippine Embassy in Berlin.
Please contact the honorary Philippine Consulates for appointments, their respective bank details, and for further questions.
