Executive Order No. 134, s. 1999 designates the 12th of August as the International Humanitarian Law (IHL) Day. The theme for the 2020 IHL Day is “Preserving Human Dignity in Times of Armed Conflict: A Shared Responsibility.”
To learn more about IHL, below is a short video by the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) providing an overview of the principles of IHL as the ‘Rules of War’.
