The Philippines’ art sector has been hit hard by this pandemic. For the Filipino artists, the response to this virus was the genesis of a ‘new art reality’—the so called ‘pandemic art.’ But there will be challenges for them long after the rest of us return to work. Now, more stronger than ever, it is important to recognize and protect the work of our artists.
