26 June 2025 – The “Songs of a Culture” concert held on 26 June at the Romanfabrik in Frankfurt, headlined by the world-renowned Philippine Madrigal Singers, offered a captivating glimpse into the soul of the Philippines ahead of its Guest of Honour appearance at the Frankfurt Book Fair 2025.
Attended by members of the Consular Corps, Filipino-German audiences, and cultural partners, the concert celebrated the Philippines’ rich musical heritage. With a repertoire that blended traditional folk songs and contemporary choral works, the Madrigal Singers delivered a performance that resonated deeply and set the cultural tone for the Philippines’ yearlong cultural and literary showcase across Germany.
